Duplex Residential Development
- Year
- 2024
- Location
- Bucov, Prahova
- Role
- Architectural Design

A residential development of four buildings, each combining two duplex homes, developed from massing through material and lighting detail. The design uses a restrained palette — white render, grey stone accents and timber slatting — to give each unit a calm, contemporary street presence.

Built and occupied. The renders above are of a scheme that exists — the development stands on its street in Bucov and the homes are lived in. The built work keeps the design's massing, hipped roof and white-render language; the facade's timber slatting was executed in dark split-face stone, with the timber carried into the street fencing instead. For a client choosing who to hire, that matters more than any drawing: the design survived a budget, a contractor and a build, which is where most residential proposals quietly stop.
